Girlfriend Of PnB Rock Forced To Deactivate Social Media After Being Blamed For Rapper Losing His Life

The Hip-Hop world is in mourning yet again as another young and promising rapper life was taken in the city of Los Angeles. PnB Rock, real name Rakim Allen, was an American rapper, singer, and songwriter from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He first broke into the public consciousness in 2016 with his single “Selfish” and has collaborated with some of the biggest acts in music over the next few years, including Ed Sheeran, Chance The Rapper, Tory Lanez, Quavo, and many, many more. PnB was targeted for his jewelry at the history Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles after his girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang tagged their location on her Instagram story.

Stephanie Sibounheuang is now being blamed by the masses, as she has to deal with the passing of her boyfriend and baby father. The story is all too familiar, as rapper Pop Smoke died in a similar fashion back in 2020. The Brooklyn rapper posted a picture of a Mike Amiri bag on his Instagram that accidentally revealed the location of his Airbnb. People broke in hours later and took his life in a scuffle while robbing him.

Nicki Minaj remembers Pop Smoke’s passing all too well and took to Twitter to call out PnB’s lady companion for putting their location on social media. “After Pop Smoke, there’s no way we as rappers or our loved ones are still posting locations to our whereabouts. To show waffles & some fried chicken????! He was such a pleasure to work with. Condolences to his mom & family. This makes me feel so sick. Jesus.” Fans immediately called her out for blaming the young lady and reminded Minaj of how massive her platform is to use it for something “so evil.” “So you as a public figure just gone add to the Train of Blame. Like any fan couldn’t of posted him, not knowing for a fact if the [individual] ever saw her story.”

Her rival, Cardi B, took a different stance on the matter and tried to diffuse any blame on PnB’s girlfriend. “I highly doubt [anyone] was looking at PMB’s babymom IG. He was in a bad location and people stay outside plotting. It’s very irresponsible and inconsiderate to blame her for something so tragic. We should be sending nothing but love to her and his family at this time.”

The woman in question, Stephanie Sibounheuang, has deactivated her IG following the incident. Prior to this, however, some sites note that she was a budding influencer with half a million followers. She also runs an online boutique, Angel Energy, which is still up and running. It is unknown how long Stephanie and Rock had been dating, but they share a daughter named Xuri Li, who was born on March 27, 2020.

Lil Duval took to his social media to defend Stephanie. According to him, the Roscoe’s location they ate at is always a hot spot for drama. The area is known for its violence, and men often posted up outside the establishment waiting to see who walks in. “Y’all gotta stop pushing that narrative. Y’all blaming everybody but the robbers,” he said in the caption. While some agree with Duval, Akademiks added more fuel to the fire, reposting an interview from him and Rock last week where the rapper told him he that some people had been trying to target him for some time. If that is the case, it would make sense for them to stake out his girlfriend’s IG waiting for the right moment.

Who do you really believe is to blame?
