Wendy Williams estranged husband and manager, Kevin Hunter, is finally coming clean about ongoing infidelity rumors that have destroyed his marriage to the media mogul.

In a statement to PEOPLE, Hunter gives an honest confession about the role he played in the destruction of his marriage. “I am not proud of my recent actions and take full accountability and apologize to my wife, my family and her amazing fans,” Hunter said. “I am going through a time of self-reflection and am trying to right some wrongs.”

Hunter also alludes that Wendy isn’t the only one in the relationship struggling with addiction. While promising to seek help himself, he also vows to be in his wife’s corner no matter what becomes of their relationship.

“Twenty-eight years ago I met an amazing woman: Wendy Williams,” he continues. “At the time, I didn’t realize that she would not only become my wife, but would also change the face of entertainment and the world. I have dedicated most of our lives to the business empire that is Wendy.
